Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and equipment hired from Little Lux (“we”, “us” or “our”).
By making a booking, paying a deposit or accepting delivery of our equipment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is only confirmed once the required 50% booking deposit has been received.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate information, including the event date, event times, delivery address, contact details, access requirements and any other information reasonably required for delivery and setup.
Changes to bookings are subject to availability.
2. Payments
A 50% booking deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date and selected equipment.
The booking deposit is deducted from the total booking price.
The remaining 50% balance, plus the $350 security bond, must be paid no later than 7 days before the event.
For bookings made less than 7 days before the event, the full booking amount plus the $350 security bond is payable at the time of booking.
Little Lux may cancel or withhold delivery and setup if the required payment has not been received by the due date.
Online payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
3. Security Bond
A $350 refundable security bond applies to each booking unless otherwise stated.
The security bond is payable together with the final balance 7 days before the event.
Following collection and inspection of the equipment, the bond will be refunded where no deductions are required.
Little Lux may make reasonable deductions from the bond for:
- Damage to equipment
- Lost or missing equipment
- Excessive cleaning
- Unauthorised movement or misuse of equipment
- Damage resulting from failure to follow provided instructions
- Other reasonable costs resulting from a breach of these Terms & Conditions
Normal wear and tear will not be deducted from the security bond.
If the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing damaged or missing equipment exceeds $350, the customer may be responsible for the additional reasonable costs, subject to applicable law.

Additional charges may apply where access has not been disclosed and requires additional time or labour, including stairs, long carrying distances, restricted parking or difficult access.
Where possible, Little Lux will advise the customer of any additional charges before the booking is confirmed.
5. Delivery, Setup & Collection
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the event location for delivery, setup and collection.
The setup area must be clear and ready before Little Lux arrives.
Delivery and collection times will be arranged according to the booking and Little Lux's delivery schedule.
The customer must ensure that Little Lux can access the location during the agreed delivery and collection periods.
Equipment must not be moved after installation without prior permission from Little Lux.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
The 50% booking deposit is non-refundable if the customer chooses to cancel their booking, regardless of how far in advance the cancellation occurs, except where a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law.
If a customer cancels 7 days or more before the event, any amount paid above the 50% booking deposit will be refunded, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
If a customer cancels less than 7 days before the event, the full booking price is non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law.
The $350 security bond is not part of the hire price and will be refunded following cancellation where Little Lux has not incurred any amount that may lawfully be deducted from it.
7. Rescheduling
If your event cannot proceed, Little Lux may allow the booking deposit to be transferred to another available date rather than forfeited.
Rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible and are subject to availability.
Any difference in pricing resulting from changes to equipment, location or services will be payable by the customer.
8. Weather
Some Little Lux equipment, particularly jumping castles and inflatable equipment, may not be suitable for use during rain, strong winds, storms or other unsafe weather conditions.
